Welcome to Menu Underload.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Menu Underload platform, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using Menu Underload, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1. Use of the Platform
Menu Underload provides personalized restaurant recommendations, menu item suggestions, meal planning tools, nutrition-related insights, AI-assisted recommendations, and related services.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Users may not:
- Misuse or interfere with the Platform
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Disrupt platform functionality or security
- Scrape, copy, or improperly collect platform data
- Use the Platform in any unlawful or abusive manner
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for users who violate these Terms.
2. User Accounts
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- Securing login credentials and passwords
- All activity occurring under their accounts
Users must provide accurate information when creating accounts or profiles.
Menu Underload reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the Platform or other users.
3. Optional Profiles & Personalization
Users may optionally create personalized profiles to improve recommendation quality and meal planning functionality. Profile information may include:
- Dietary preferences
- Allergies
- Activity level
- Age
- Sex
- Height
- Weight
- Nutrition goals
- Dining preferences
Users are responsible for ensuring information they provide is accurate and updated where necessary. Recommendations generated by the Platform depend in part on the accuracy of user-provided information.
4. User Content
Users retain ownership of content, preferences, feedback, and information they submit to the Platform.
By submitting content, users grant Menu Underload a limited, non-exclusive license necessary to:
- Store
- Process
- Analyze
- Display
- Generate recommendations
- Personalize experiences
- Provide Platform functionality
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to submit any content or information provided to the Platform.
5. Shared Plans & Group Features
Users may create or participate in shared meal plans, household groups, or collaborative recommendation features.
Group administrators or participants may manage member access, shared preferences, and visibility settings.
Menu Underload is not responsible for how users choose to share information within groups or shared planning features.
6. AI Features & Recommendations
Menu Underload uses AI-assisted systems to generate recommendations, meal suggestions, nutritional estimates, personalization insights, and related outputs.
AI-generated outputs are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. Recommendations, nutritional information, and AI-generated estimates:
- May be incomplete
- May contain inaccuracies
- May change over time
- Should not be relied upon as medical, nutritional, dietary, or healthcare advice
Users are solely responsible for evaluating whether recommendations are appropriate for their individual needs and circumstances.
7. Nutrition, Dietary & Allergen Disclaimer
Menu Underload may display:
- Calorie estimates
- Macronutrient information
- Dietary labels
- Allergen indicators
- Ingredient information
- Restaurant menu details
Information may originate from:
- Restaurants
- Third-party providers
- Publicly available information
- AI-generated estimations
Restaurant menus, ingredients, recipes, preparation methods, and allergen exposure risks may change without notice. Menu Underload does not guarantee:
- Nutritional accuracy
- Ingredient accuracy
- Allergen-free meals
- Absence of cross-contamination
- Suitability for any dietary or medical condition
Users with allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or food sensitivities are solely responsible for independently verifying ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information directly with restaurants before consuming any food or beverage.
Use of Menu Underload recommendations is entirely at the user’s own risk.
8. No Medical or Healthcare Advice
Menu Underload does not provide medical advice, healthcare advice, nutritional counseling, or professional dietary services.
Nothing provided through the Platform should be interpreted as medical guidance or a substitute for consultation with qualified healthcare professionals.
Users should consult appropriate professionals regarding medical conditions, allergies, nutrition plans, or dietary concerns.
9. Third-Party Services & Restaurant Data
The Platform may rely on or integrate with third-party providers and services, including:
- Restaurant data providers
- Mapping and location services
- Delivery providers
- Analytics providers
- Advertising providers
- AI providers
- Payment processors
- Cloud infrastructure services
Menu Underload does not control third-party services, restaurant operations, restaurant menu accuracy, delivery services, or external websites.
Use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.
10. Advertising & Promotions
Menu Underload may display advertisements, sponsored content, affiliate links, or promotional materials. Certain Platform features may be supported by advertising revenue.
Menu Underload may also offer future premium or ad-free subscription options.
We are not responsible for third-party advertisements, offers, products, or services displayed through the Platform.
11. Platform Availability
We strive to maintain reliable Platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Features, functionality, restaurant coverage, AI systems, integrations, or content may change, be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Menu Underload is not responsible for service interruptions, outages, delays, or data loss.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Menu Underload and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, partners, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Special damages
- Lost profits
- Lost data
- Business interruption
- Reputational harm
- Health-related outcomes
- Allergic reactions
- Dietary incompatibilities
- Food-related illnesses
- Inaccuracies in restaurant information
- Inaccuracies in nutritional estimates
- Reliance on AI-generated outputs or recommendations
Use of the Platform is entirely at the user’s own risk.
If liability cannot legally be excluded, Menu Underload’s total liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Menu Underload and its affiliates, owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Use of the Platform
- Violation of these Terms
- Reliance on recommendations
- Consumption of food or beverages
- Allergic reactions
- Disputes with restaurants or third parties
- Misuse of the Platform
14. Intellectual Property
The Menu Underload name, branding, logos, platform design, software, recommendation systems, AI systems, content, and related intellectual property are owned by Menu Underload or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Platform materials without written permission.
15. Termination
Menu Underload reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.
Certain provisions of these Terms shall survive termination, including limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, and intellectual property protections.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use of Menu Underload after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
